These terms form the agreement between you and Dogkit English Lab Sdn Bhd (Business Reg. No. 202302041187 (1527409-P)) of Unit 2-7, Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the use of the dogkit.help website and enrolment in our courses. By enrolling, you accept them. They are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
1. The service
Dogkit provides live online English language instruction: one-to-one coaching, small-group sessions, children's classes, business communication training and examination preparation. Course scope, duration and price are confirmed in writing before payment. The free placement chat carries no obligation on either side.
2. Enrolment and levels
Placement levels are our professional assessment and are assigned in good faith. If we believe a different course serves you better than the one you requested, we will say so before you pay. For learners under 18, the contract is with the parent or guardian who enrols them.
3. Scheduling, lateness and missed classes
- Lessons may be rescheduled free of charge up to 12 hours before the start time.
- Cancellations within 12 hours, or non-attendance, consume the lesson — because the coach's hour was reserved for you.
- If a learner is late, the lesson still ends at the scheduled time. If the coach is late, the full lesson length is delivered or the time credited.
- If we must cancel (coach illness, technical failure on our side), you choose between a replacement slot or a credit.
4. Payment
Fees are quoted and invoiced in Malaysian Ringgit and are payable before the lesson block begins. Package prices apply only when the package is paid in full. Unpaid accounts may result in paused lessons after a written reminder. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
5. Technology requirements
You are responsible for your own device, camera, microphone and internet connection. If a lesson fails because of connection problems on the learner's side, it counts as delivered; where a genuine outage is documented, we will look for a goodwill solution, but cannot promise one.
6. Recordings and materials
Lesson recordings are provided for the learner's personal revision only and may not be published or shared. All teaching materials — lesson plans, worksheets, story units, mock tests — remain the intellectual property of Dogkit and its licensors and may not be reproduced or resold.
7. Conduct
We maintain a respectful environment and expect the same from learners. We may end a lesson, and in repeated or serious cases the course, where a coach is subjected to abusive or inappropriate behaviour; remaining unused lessons in such cases are refunded at the package rate minus lessons taken.
8. No outcome guarantee
We guarantee qualified coaches, honest assessment and a documented process. We do not guarantee any particular examination score or fluency level, and you should treat anyone who does with suspicion. Progress depends materially on attendance and practice.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law. Otherwise, our total liability in connection with a course is limited to the fees paid for that course. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed applications, deadlines or opportunities.
10. Changes
We may update these terms for future enrolments. The version in force when you enrol governs your course; material changes during a course will be notified by email and apply only with your agreement.
